Rais, please check out these videos of a recent presentation by the CEO of the Bank of North Dakota, a public bank established over 100 years ago when local farmers got fed up with Wall Street meddling in their pricing and ability to get credit. It's an excellent model with a mission of promoting agriculture, industry and commerce, (along with the infrastructure that to facilitate same), while keeping all of its assets in the hands of a public entity, controlled by the people. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHeAtWHBWTgMSpTf-bE0sU380hCOhi5ED

Could African states consider establishing such a public bank? Ellen Brown at Web of Debt has written extensively about it, too.
